    Continued demand from China, renewed demand from India and severe rain causing disruption to operations has helped support Indonesian thermal coal prices.

    Recent Heard Markets

    Indonesia

    February panamax of 5000NAR heard trading at $52.00/mt FOB

    Februray panamax of 5200NAR heard offered at $60/mt FOB

    March panamax of 4400NAR heard offered at $45.50/mt FOB

    India based trader heard bidding $32.00/mt for a panamax of 4200GAR coal on a FOB basis.

    Australia

    No trades heard for Newcastle at time of writing however:

    Feb was heard bid at $97.00 FOB Newcastle in 25kt basis 6000NAR

    March FOB Newc was heard $97.40bid /$98.60 offered in 25kt basis 6000NAR

    South Africa

    Feb heard bid around API4 minus $32.00/mt for 4800NAR

    Feb FOB RBCT heard Index minus $21.50 bid / Index minus $19.00 Offered for 5500NAR
